Mary McGhee Shively, age 94 of Oak Level, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022. She was a daughter of the late Estelle Mullins McGhee Coleman and the late Eck McGhee. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Henry Waverly Shively and her four brothers; R.G. McGhee, Bill McGhee, Slick McGhee and Bud McGhee.
She was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and UVA basketball. She could be often found watching the games after tending to her yard and flower garden. She was a great cook and made the best from scratch biscuits that her family ever tasted. Mary was much loved and will be missed by all she touched.
Mary is survived by her children; Patricia Shively Gusler, Phyllis Shively Ramsey (Lynn Ramsey), Darryle Waverly Shively and Sheila Shively Jamison (Jimmy Jamison). She was blessed to have nine grandchildren and seventeen great- grandchildren.
